Lorsqu\u2019un enfant manque de nutriments et d\u2019\u00e9nergie essentiels, sa prise de poids et de taille est affect\u00e9e. La nutrition est essentielle au d\u00e9veloppement physique et mental. Un retard de croissance pourrait signaler de l\u2019anorexie, de l\u2019ARFID ou un autre trouble restrictif. Les enfants apprennent vite que la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 valorise les corps minces comme symboles de bonheur et de sant\u00e9. L\u2019orthorexie (obsession de l\u2019alimentation \u201cpure\u201d ou \u201csaine\u201d) peut aussi se manifester, entra\u00eenant des restrictions excessives qui nuisent \u00e0 la sant\u00e9 globale. Le corps envoie des signaux de faim pour obtenir l\u2019\u00e9nergie dont il a besoin. Ignorer ces signaux peut les rendre encore plus intenses, ce qui peut mener \u00e0 des exc\u00e8s alimentaires jusqu\u2019\u00e0 l\u2019inconfort.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Les enfants peuvent manger au-del\u00e0 de leur seuil de confort, puis ressentir de la culpabilit\u00e9, de la honte ou de la d\u00e9tresse. Soyez attentifs aux joues gonfl\u00e9es, aux cicatrices sur les jointures, aux variations de poids fr\u00e9quentes ou \u00e0 des odeurs persistantes de vomi.
