Annie is a Registered Dietitian and a member of the Ordre des diététistes-nutritionnistes du Québec.
As a former competitive figure skater, she noticed how her eating habits impacted her athletic performance. Her desire to gain more knowledge in sports nutrition along with her passion to help others led her to complete a Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition Sciences at University of Ottawa.
After her studies, Annie began her career as a Registered Dietitian in private practice, specifically working in an exercise facility. Although her clients typically consulted her to improve their health or sports performance, she quickly noticed many had disordered eating patterns and poor body image. Motivated to help her clients, she dedicated a lot of time learning about intuitive eating, Health at Every Size® and body image and has also applied these teachings to her own life.
Improving her own relationship with food allowed her to make space for more important things such as spending quality time with loved ones, creating art, traveling and doing outdoor activities.
She uses a compassionate approach to collaborate with her clients with the goal of helping them develop a healthy relationship with food and their body so that they too, can live life to the fullest.
