I completed my bachelor’s and clinical master’s degrees in sexology at the Université du Québec à Montréal in 2022 and 2024 respectively. Having worked with survivors of sexual and domestic violence as well as people struggling with eating disorders, I am particularly interested in issues affecting body image, sexual intimacy, couple relationships, interpersonal trauma, impulsivity and sexual dysfunctions.
The values that color my interventions are authenticity and respect, aspiring to ensure that the people I meet can be vulnerable, feel understood and confide in a space that advocates non-judgment and respect for the pace of change.
I favor cognitive-behavioral and existential humanist approaches, drawing inspiration from schema therapy and emotion-focused therapy. In individual follow-up, I aim to help the person in front of me understand what could have led to and maintained their current problem while aiming for them to be able to create meaning in their story and express the emotions that arise from it. I want to create an atmosphere in the meeting where the client feels comfortable discussing the therapeutic relationship and expressing their views on the content of the meetings or the objectives established.
