About Jessica
Background
With nearly a decade of experience as a Registered Dietitian, Jessica Francis has supported individuals from all walks of life in building a more peaceful, flexible, and empowered relationship with food. Her background in yoga and somatic work has deepened her appreciation for how eating disorders can create a sense of disconnection from the body. She is passionate about helping people gently reconnect with themselves in ways that feel safe, compassionate, and sustainable.
Approach and Training
Jessica’s practice is grounded in the belief that healing from an eating disorder involves both the mind and the body. Over the years, she has seen how blending nutrition therapy with mindfulness, nervous-system regulation, and body-based awareness can support lasting change—not just relief from symptoms.
Her work is informed by specialized training in evidence-based therapeutic modalities, advanced yoga teacher training, ongoing supervision with a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner, and her studies with the Embodied Recovery Institute. Jessica brings a steady curiosity to each session, supporting clients in exploring the body’s wisdom and how it shapes their relationship with food and movement.
Rooted in compassion, trauma-informed care, and her strong grounding in ACT, Jessica helps clients strengthen the connection between their values and daily choices. She gently guides individuals to tune into bodily sensations, cultivate mindfulness, and expand their capacity for self-trust and self-care.
Who She Works With
Jessica specializes in supporting individuals experiencing binge eating disorder, anorexia, and body image concerns. She also works with people seeking a more embodied, intuitive relationship with food, as well as athletes who want to nourish themselves in a way that supports both physical performance and emotional well-being.
Jessica completed her Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics at McGill University and is a member of the Ordre des diététistes nutritionnistes du Québec (ODNQ) She is also a 500-hour certified yoga instructor.
Jessica offers services in both English and French and provides insurance receipts.
